Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (Tier 3 - Technical Authority)

Pay From: $175,000 per year
MUST:
Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (Tier 3 - Technical Authority)
5 to 12+ years of enterprise IT engineering experience in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments
3+ years of Tier 3 escalation experience supporting Microsoft enterprise infrastructure
5 + years of Microsoft Entra ID, PIM, role assignments, just-in-time access, and Zero Trust architecture
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online/On-Prem, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, MFA, and Conditional Access
Advanced Exchange Online configuration including DKIM, SPF, DMARC, and mail routing
Experience managing endpoints with Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM
Strong Active Directory experience including GPOs, OU structure, hybrid Azure AD integration, and directory replication
Experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter, Azure environments, Windows Server, and Linux administration
Networking knowledge including Palo Alto firewalls, routing, switching, and VLAN architecture
Experience working with NIST SP 800-53, STIG hardening, and familiarity with CMMC frameworks
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills in enterprise environments
Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience;
DUTIES
Serve as the Tier 3 technical authority and escalation point for complex infrastructure and cloud issues
Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure enterprise services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Entra ID
Configure identity architecture including PIM, just-in-time access, role assignments, and conditional access policies
Maintain Exchange Online and Exchange On-Prem environments including mail flow troubleshooting and configuration
Manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint provisioning, compliance policies, application deployment, and device security
Support hybrid Active Directory environments including directory replication, GPO management, and identity integrations
Maintain and patch VMware vSphere infrastructure and Azure Local environments
Analyze Palo Alto firewall logs, troubleshoot segmentation issues, and implement rule updates
Partner with incident response teams to investigate alerts, secure endpoints, and resolve infrastructure incidents
Collaborate with security teams to maintain compliance with NIST 800-53, STIG baselines, and CMMC requirements
Support SaaS integrations including Teams, Jira, and enterprise SSO identity services
Document infrastructure architecture, network diagrams, and operational procedures
