Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and curious Junior Developer Intern to join our development team. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career developers who want hands-on exposure to real-world product development across both frontend and backend systems.

As a Junior Developer Intern, you will support the team in building, testing, and improving web applications. You will work with modern technologies such as React.js, Angular, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap, while learning engineering best practices, debugging workflows, and collaborative development processes. Along with core engineering skills, this role also expects comfort with AI-assisted development workflows to improve speed, learning, debugging, and documentation quality in day-to-day work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications across frontend and backend layers.
• Support the team in building responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, React.js, and Angular.
• Help develop and maintain backend APIs and server-side logic using Node.js.
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code under guidance from senior developers.
• Participate in bug fixing, troubleshooting, testing, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Work with version control systems such as Git for code collaboration and tracking changes.
• Assist in integrating APIs, third-party libraries, and backend services.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to support coding, debugging, code review, documentation, test case generation, and faster issue resolution, while validating outputs for accuracy and quality.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development productivity, understand unfamiliar codebases, and accelerate learning of frameworks, libraries, and best practices.
• Learn and follow coding standards, development workflows, and deployment practices.
• Actively participate in team discussions, sprint planning, reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• Basic understanding of frontend-development concepts and responsive web design.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework such as React.js or Angular.
• Basic understanding of Node.js and backend development concepts.
• Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture.
• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL at a foundational level.
• Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub or other version control tools.
• Understanding of debugging, testing, and problem-solving fundamentals.
• Comfort using AI-assisted developer tools for code suggestions, debugging support, documentation, learning assistance, and productivity improvement with proper human review.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly in a project environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
