Desktop Technical Support, Trading (ServiceNow/Active Directory):

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Desktop Technical Support, Trading (ServiceNow/Active Directory) for a 6-month role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.

Desktop Technical Support, Trading (ServiceNow/Active Directory) - Job Description:

The role involves providing desktop support services to manage the desktop and mobile estate in production, supporting both trading and non-trading users. The position requires collaboration with Technology & Application teams to maintain a scalable and stable IT Infrastructure environment.

Desktop Technical Support, Trading (ServiceNow/Active Directory) - Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop technical support to the business line and adapt to cover business needs
  • Ensure tickets are logged and updated in ServiceNow, meeting SLAs
  • Resolve trading desktop issues and support 3rd party market data applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT hardware issues
  • Support Citrix virtual desktop environments; Xendesktop and XenApp
  • Install, configure, and support mobile devices
  • Conduct floor walking, desk visits, and remote support for VPN clients
  • Undertake system administration duties to ensure smooth bank system operations
  • Collaborate with the Access Control Team for user access needs

Desktop Technical Support, Trading (ServiceNow/Active Directory) - Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2-4 years of proven work experience as a Technical Systems Analyst providing Desktop Support
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Understanding of Active Directory/networking concepts
  • Good technical understanding of Market Data applications such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., Macros)
  • Experience in supporting trading environment

Desktop Technical Support, Trading (ServiceNow/Active Directory) – Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in supporting executives
  • Analytical thinker, detail-oriented, with good problem-solving skills
  • Organized with good time management skills
  • Experience with operating systems (Windows, Mac) and hardware (laptops, desktops, VDI, mobile devices)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global team

This is a 6-month contract position.
