<div class="textLayer" data-main-rotation="0"><strong>Department/Team: </strong>Growth - Federal Business Development<br><strong>Clearance Requirement: </strong>Active TS/SCI Required<br><strong>Location:</strong> Hybrid - Chantilly, VA / Herndon, VA / Washington, DC Metro Area<br><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-time, Salaried<br><br><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Role Summary</strong></span><br>We are seeking a Director of Business Development focused on U.S. Space Force, U.S. Space<br>Command, the Space Development Agency (SDA), Missile Defense Agency, and related space<br>domain organizations. This leader will own our go-to-market and growth strategy for space domain<br>awareness, space defense, and space offense support missions.</div>
<div class="textLayer" data-main-rotation="0"><br><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span><br>● Build and execute a cohesive, data-driven strategy to penetrate, expand, and deliver our<br>clients best-in-class space data and analytics capabilities into Space Force, Space<br>Command, SDA, and other space domain stakeholders (e.g., SSC, SpOC, STARCOM, NASIC,<br>NRO).<br>● Shape, qualify, and drive capture for opportunities across space domain awareness, space<br>battle management/command and control, defensive and offensive space operations<br>support, and space resilience missions.<br>● Collaborate with executive leadership and product teams to align our growth strategy with<br>U.S. Space Force and SDA priorities (e.g., proliferated LEO architectures, missile<br>warning/missile tracking, PNT, cislunar awareness, space control, and orbital threat<br>characterization).<br>● Develop and maintain trusted relationships with mission owners, program offices, and<br>operators to identify new business opportunities, resolve issues, and provide strategic<br>direction to internal teams.<br>● Establish teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures optimized for space-related<br>IDIQs, OTAs, and other rapid acquisition pathways to create profitable returns at winning<br>cost.<br>● Partner with capture, solutions, engineering, and proposal teams to build differentiated<br>solutions and compelling positioning for key space domain pursuits.<br>● Foster a culture of trust, communication, customer focus, innovation, and continuous<br>improvement across all BD and capture activities.<br>● Develop, maintain, and continuously refine a high-quality pipeline of new opportunities<br>across Space Force, Space Command, SDA, and adjacent space domain customers.<br>● Deliver on financial performance commitments while simultaneously building strategic<br>market growth initiatives and longer-term campaign plans in the space domain.<br><br><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Who We’re Looking For</strong></span><br>● A proven leader who has managed or supported complex programs within the U.S. Space<br>Force, U.S. Space Command, the Space Development Agency, or closely related space and<br>intelligence organizations.<br>● Demonstrated success advancing new business development strategies and technology<br>solutions in areas such as:<br>● Space domain awareness and space surveillance and tracking (SST/SSA)<br>● Space control / space defense and offense support operations<br>● Mission data platforms, C2/BMC2, and decision support tools<br>● Cloud-based, data-centric architectures and mission analytics<br>● Successful track record of identifying, shaping, and closing new business opportunities<br>targeting Space Force, SDA, and/or space-focused elements of the Intelligence Community.<br>● Proven ability to build relationships and lead through influence at all levels, including mission<br>operators, program managers, PEOs, and senior flag/general officers and SES leadership.<br>● Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including experience briefing senior<br>military and civilian leadership and participating in high-visibility technical and operational<br>reviews.<br>● Experience building and managing opportunity pipelines, capture plans, and bid strategies<br>for complex, multi-year space or ISR programs.<br>● Demonstrated high-energy leader who drives performance, exhibits strong management<br>skills, and operates with a high level of emotional intelligence.<br>● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, and creative environment,<br>bridging commercial innovation with mission-critical government needs.<br><br><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Requirements</strong></span><br>● Bachelor’s degree in a technical, operational, marketing, or business-related discipline.<br>or<br>● 7+ years of related business development, capture, or program experience with U.S. Space<br>Force, SDA, USSPACECOM, or space-focused elements of the Intelligence Community.<br>● Active TS clearance and eligibility for SCI.<br>● Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, the Washington, D.C., Colorado Springs/Aurora, or<br>Huntsville area.<br>● Hybrid work schedule, with in-person collaboration and travel to customer sites, industry<br>days, and key events required.</div>
