Under the direction of the department lead, you'll actively contribute to continuous improvement, the introduction of new processes, and the resolution of technical issues through practical, sustainable solutions.You'll take part in diverse projects—from integrating innovative technologies to leading investigations into chemical processes—while supporting internal clients in the implementation of technical solutions. Your ability to manage projects efficiently and meet deadlines will be essential to your success.You will be part of a dynamic, collaborative environment focused on innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.The full-time position, based at the Longueuil facility from Monday to Friday, requires availability to respond to calls outside regular working hours, as well as occasional travel.What will your day-to-day look like?Provide technical support to production lines, including the evaluation, introduction, and improvement of chemical processes.Propose and implement new process concepts while optimizing existing chemical processes.Research and integrate new technologies and equipment to enhance process efficiency.Prepare technical specifications for new equipment or products related to chemical processes.Lead or participate in investigations related to chemical processes and recommend practical, effective solutions.Collaborate dynamically with a world-class specialized team and cross-functional groups.Provide technical support to suppliers and maintain effective communication with them.Contribute to projects focused on reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable development.Actively support and promote the company's core pillars: Health/Safety/Environment, Ethics, and Quality Assurance.Support the implementation and maintenance of continuous improvement principles and tools.Take ownership of any other related tasks within the Chemical Technologies Department.What do you need to be successful?Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.Knowledge of the aeronautical environment and surface treatment processes (anodizing, plating, painting, coatings) would be a significant asset.Strong proficiency with computer tools (Excel, data analysis, project management).Solid experience in managing technical projects while meeting deadlines.Good knowledge of industrial chemical processes.The ability to solve complex problems and propose effective solutions.Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.Strong organizational skills, rigor, autonomy, and team spirit.This position is part of a French-speaking work environment; it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.What do we offer?Pension and savings plan with employer contributions.Group insurance program.Opportunities for advancement (career progression).Merit or recognition program.Health and wellness program, including virtual health care.Recreational and sports club.Nearby daycares.Transportation accessibility or public transit program and free parking.The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.
