Senior Full-Stack Developer (Public Trust) with Security Clearance

Location: Bethesda, MD (Hybrid) Clearance: Public Trust (Role may require additional background investigations) Employment Type: Full-Time US Citizenship is Required Position Overview: Praescient Analytics is seeking a Senior Full-stack Developer to spearhead the design and implementation of enterprise-level solutions within a modernized, cloud-native data ecosystem. This role is central to our Federal customer's strategic mission to modernize its data infrastructure, migrating from legacy on-premises environments to a cutting-edge Microsoft Azure platform. You will be responsible for building the backend and frontend systems that power advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven tools to protect consumers from product-related risks Key Responsibilities

• System Integration: Design and implement scalable backend and frontend solutions that integrate complex AI and analytical models into existing system architectures and mission-critical workflows.
• Cloud Architecture: Manage and optimize data organization, security, and performance within Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2).
• Data Engineering Support: Build and maintain complex data pipelines and triggers using Azure Data Factory (ADF), ensuring robust error handling and parameterization.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee Azure Synapse Analytics components, including SQL/Spark pools and data warehousing performance.
• DevOps Excellence: Lead CI/CD efforts using Azure DevOps (YAML) for build/release automation, branching strategies, and rigorous code reviews.
• Performance & Security: Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking (VNET, private endpoints, firewalls) and implement Medallion architecture patterns. Required Qualifications:
• Experience: 6+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 4+ years dedicated to building large-scale backend systems.
• Core Technical Skills:
• Deep expertise in Java and SQL.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT patterns and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with Self-hosted Integration Runtimes (setup, scaling, and security).
• Cloud Proficiency: Extensive experience with the Microsoft Azure suite (Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS).
