Job Description
At Cayuga Displays an Assembly Technician, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing and assembly of temperature-controlled products, including refrigerated showcases and food bars. Your contributions will directly impact product quality and customer satisfaction, while supporting the company's commitment to excellence and innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assembling temperature-controlled products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures
- Working with sheet metal, wiring, and glass components to ensure precise assembly
- Performing in-process quality inspections to maintain high standards
- Troubleshooting and resolving assembly and testing issues as they arise
- Collaborating with engineering and design teams to provide feedback for product improvement
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Supporting woodworking operations as required
- Performing other duties as assigned to support overall production goals

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on assembly or manufacturing experience
- Experience reading and following technical drawings
- Experience assembling metal and/or wood products
- Experience using small hand tools and power tools for assembly work, including sliding table saws
- Basic wiring experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for an entire workday, and perform repetitive motion tasks
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Willingness to work overtime when needed

- High school diploma or equivalent
