Job Duties

• Mail Preparation: Categorize, elevate, and maneuver substantial amounts of mail and packages to prepare for daily delivery.
• Route Execution: Carry out the delivery of letters and parcels accurately within your designated area.
• Collection: Retrieve or collect mail from customers along the assigned route.
• Financial Transactions: Garner payments for outstanding postage fees related to delivery or other services.
• Environment: Fulfill tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments, enduring changing weather conditions like rain, snow, cold, and heat.

USPS Postal Carriers are responsible for verifying delivery addresses, maintaining accurate route records, and ensuring the security and confidentiality of mail. They handle undeliverable items following proper procedures, communicate delays to supervisors, and provide customers with delivery status information. Requirements

• Age: Must be 18 years old (or 16 with a high school diploma).
• Driving History: A current state driver's license and a clear two-year U.S. driving history are mandatory.

• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen, green card holder, or citizen of a U.S. territory.
