Job Summary

In this position, you oversee the daily movement and distribution of goods across a complex supply chain network. You provide a critical service by coordinating with shipping companies, freight carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure that shipments are tracked, inventory is managed, and delivery deadlines are met. Job Duties

• Shipment Oversight: Plan and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring they align with customer requirements and international shipping standards.
• Carrier Coordination: Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and vendors to negotiate favorable rates and schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Inventory Management: Track inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies to ensure product availability while minimizing holding costs.
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and review essential shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve shipping errors, delays, or logistical hurdles promptly, providing real-time status updates to all stakeholders.
• Data Analysis: Monitor supply chain KPIs and utilize logistics IT systems (ERP/WMS/TMS) to optimize procedures and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar supply chain role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or specialized WMS/TMS).
• Core Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, strong negotiation skills, and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate between diverse internal and external departments.
