The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a strong 4-star service and leadership experience to join our Restaurant service teams. Our top candidate will have a strong drive to succeed. They have exceptional motivational and organizational skills and thrive under pressure, allowing them to manage multiple priorities and projects. They will ensure that the team is working at optimum service levels to ensure that our guests’ needs are met.
Job duties:
- Coordinate and supervise the daily operations of our outlets.
- Continuous development of the service team and ensuring a productive, well-maintained working environment.
- You will achieve excellence by maintaining standard operating procedures and exceeding financial metrics.
- Supervise and check standards of food quality and service delivery and providing continuous performance feedback.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Employment Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Minimum, 1 – 2 years of leadership experience in a 4-star hotel.
- Have a valid ProServe certification.
- Experience working in a variety of restaurant settings.
- Have a strong understanding of current food and beverage trends.
- Completion of a business or hospitality degree is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift within the restaurant and adjacent service areas while supervising dining room operations.
- Carrying and lifting trays, glassware, and small service equipment, typically up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping to set tables, clear tables, clear dishes and stock lounge area and maintain service stations.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional posture and presentation.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays based on business levels.
