Havok Kids is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Readymade garments and having specialization in Men's And kid's Casual Shirts and kurtas.

Position Overview:

As the Head Garment Merchandiser in our Shirt Manufacturing division, you will lead the merchandising team in driving the production of high-quality shirts, ensuring timely delivery to meet customer demands. Your role will encompass strategic planning, team management, supplier coordination, and overseeing critical aspects such as Time and Action (TNA), buyer visits, and production planning programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning (15%):
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for garment merchandising, aligning with company objectives and market trends.
  • Analyze market demands, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for product improvement and expansion.
  • Team Leadership (15%):
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of merchandisers, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure team members meet their individual and collective targets effectively.
  • Supplier Management (15%):
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues promptly to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Time and Action (TNA) Management (15%):
  • Develop and implement comprehensive TNA plans, ensuring all critical milestones are met to achieve on-time delivery.
  • Regularly review TNA progress, identifying potential delays or bottlenecks and taking proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Buyer Visit Coordination (15%):
  • Plan and coordinate buyer visits, ensuring seamless interactions and presentations to showcase product offerings and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address buyer inquiries and requirements effectively during visits.
  • Production Planning Program (15%):
  • Develop and oversee production planning programs, optimizing resource allocation and production schedules to meet customer demands.
  • Collaborate with production units to implement efficient workflows and capacity utilization strategies.
  • Cost Management (10%):
  • Analyze production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.
  • Monitor budget allocations and expenditure, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency enhancement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in garment merchandising, preferably in the apparel industry.
  • Proven track record of leadership, with experience managing and motivating teams to achieve targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
