They are seeking a Freelance PR Specialist and Writer to develop strategic communications plans and manage media relations for clients in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing strategic communications plans
• Writing marketing, publicity and thought leadership content
• Managing media relations
• Generating meaningful results for clients

Skills

• Proficiency in interviewing expert sources and writing/editing compelling content that articulates a firm's point of view and supports strategic marketing and communications goals
• Experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with a broad range of press contacts and media outlets
• Experience working within the A/E/C (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to shifting client needs and priorities
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
