Data Analyst Trainer

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Data Analyst Trainer to design, deliver, and facilitate training programs that equip learners with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in data analysis. The trainer will be responsible for teaching concepts, tools, and techniques related to data analytics while mentoring learners to apply these skills in real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Training Delivery

Conduct engaging classroom, online, or blended training sessions on data analytics tools, techniques, and frameworks.

Teach concepts such as data cleaning, visualization, statistical analysis, and reporting.

Provide hands-on training in tools like Excel, SQL, Python/R, Power BI/Tableau.

• Curriculum Development

Design and update training materials, assignments, projects, and case studies based on industry needs.

Ensure training modules are practical, interactive, and aligned with current market trends.

• Learner Engagement & Assessment

Mentor and guide learners through individual and group projects.

Conduct assessments, quizzes, and feedback sessions to measure learning outcomes.

Provide constructive feedback and personalized support to improve learner performance.

• Industry Relevance

Incorporate real-world business case studies and datasets into training.

Stay updated with the latest trends in data analytics and integrate them into teaching.

• Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with program managers, academic teams, and industry partners to ensure program effectiveness.

Track learner progress, maintain training records, and prepare reports on outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
• Proven industry experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science.
• Strong proficiency in at least 2–3 of the following:

SQL for querying databases.

Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, dashboards).

Python/R for data analysis, visualization, and basic machine learning.

Tableau/Power BI for building dashboards and reports.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Passion for teaching, mentoring, and simplifying complex concepts.

Experience in training/teaching/facilitation is preferred (but not always mandatory).
