Role and Responsibilities:

The Member Experience Specialist is responsible for assisting with new member sales and ensuring a positive experience for members, guests, and prospective members. This role helps create a welcoming environment from the moment someone enters the club. Key responsibilities include:

• Greet and interact with members, guests, and prospective members in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage front desk tasks, including answering phone calls, conducting tours, assisting with check-ins, new memberships, cancellations, amenity usage, and account updates
• Respond to member inquiries or service issues and escalate to the Club Manager, Manager in Training, or Team Lead when necessary
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and presentable club in accordance with Planet Fitness standards

Required Skills and Experience:

• Integrity and a strong work ethic
• Excellent customer service abilities
• Basic computer literacy

• Ability to actively listen, empathize, and collaborate with members to resolve concerns
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to seek guidance when needed
