As a Lead Industrial Engineer at our client's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra, IN, you will play a crucial role in driving process improvements and operational efficiency. Your deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and advanced data analysis techniques will be essential for optimizing production workflows, reducing waste, and enhancing overall productivity.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Lead and mentor a team of industrial engineers in process improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.
  • Design, develop, and implement new production systems and workflows using lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed engineering changes.
  • Develop and maintain production standards, metrics, and performance dashboards.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of improvements.
  • Manage engineering projects from conception through implementation, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on manufacturing operations.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and TQM principles.
  • Expertise in process simulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and factory layout design.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems is beneficial.
