Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and support the kitchen operations to deliver high-quality meals to our guests. The Prep

Cook plays a vital part in creating a smooth and efficient kitchen workflow, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.

Duties

• Assist in preparing ingredients and components for menu items, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and measuring ingredients.
• Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed to prevent contamination.
• Assist with plating and presentation of dishes when necessary.
• Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing prep tasks and assisting with basic cooking duties.
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations and safety standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience working in the food industry or related fields is considered a strong asset.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Prior experience with serving or supporting front-of-house staff is a plus but not required. Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
