Mobile Security Officer

Job Summary

Pivot Security is seeking a vigilant, dependable, and professionally driven Mobile Security Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting mobile patrols across multiple client sites, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible and professional security presence. The ideal candidate is alert, reliable, and able to work independently across a variety of environments.

Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred, along with a valid Security Guard License and a clean driving record.

Duties

• Conduct scheduled and random mobile patrols across multiple assigned client sites
• Respond promptly to alarms, security breaches, disturbances, or emergencies
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or bylaw violations at each site
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs of patrol activities, observations, and incidents
• Complete and submit incident reports in a timely and professional manner
• Enforce access control procedures at client sites where applicable
• Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, or site management when required
• Provide a professional and courteous presence to clients, staff, and the public
• Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure the patrol vehicle is maintained and presentable
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors throughout each shift

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certification is required
• Valid driver's license (G class) with a clean driver's abstract is required
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is strongly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Physically capable of extended periods of driving, walking, and standing
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.60-$19.75 per hour
