Job Description

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB preferred, BCBA-eligible to be considered
  • Applicant possesses 1-3 years of experience working with children ages 3-5 with autism spectrum disorder and/or other developmental disabilities
  • Applicant requires a Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or similarly related field of study

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the diagnostic team in determining eligibility of service needs for students requiring utilization of applied behavior principles
  • Attend IEP meetings to help develop appropriate goals and objectives and create transition plans
  • Conduct functional assessments and functional analyses
  • Develop and monitor functionally based behavior intervention plans
  • Help to develop and implement Positive Behavior Supports in the Early Childhood program
  • Develops, facilitates and conducts training utilizing the principles of applied behavior analysis to teachers, therapists and staff
  • Completes student skill assessments and develop classroom and individual student programs accordingly
  • Participate on the Leadership Team for PBIS and ECE
  • Participation in crisis intervention
  • Develops and identifies resources and support information for staff and students
  • Other duties as necessary

Period of Employment: 12 months
