Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to support our legal team in real estate and general legal matters. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative, client-facing, and transactional support to ensure smooth legal operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with computer systems.

Attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Experience is preferred but not required—training will be provided. Urgent hiring—immediate start available.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients and facilitate document signing in person and virtually
  • Draft, proofread, and review legal documents, correspondence, and reports
  • Conduct legal research and assist with real estate matters, including requesting tax certificates and title searches
  • Manage case files and documents using document management systems
  • Perform basic bookkeeping and maintain accurate records
  • Handle banking tasks including deposits and related administrative processing
  • Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems
  • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal staff
  • Assist in preparing legal documents, summaries, and reports as required

Requirements

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Proficient with computer programs and office software
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Experience in legal or administrative work is preferred but not required—training will be provided

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
