Java Developer

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent certificate.

2. Must have four (4) plus years of Web based applications development experience in:a. JAVA, J2EE, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, XML, EJB, JavaBeans, JDBC, Struts framework, Custom tag librariesb. Working knowledge in Websphere, JBoss administration console. Developing web pages that comply to ADA 508 compliance standardsc. Analysis and Design of Web based applicationsd. Websphere and JBoss Application Servere. Development of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) enabled enterprise systems.3. Must have 2 plus years automated unit testing experience using JUNIT or Selenium.4. Must have hands-on experience of Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL (Creating procedures/triggers) or similar databases.5. Must have worked on Configuration Management tools e.g. IBM Rational tools.6. Must have excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills.Following skills would be a "PLUS":

• Prior Health Care Applications /MMIS project/HIPAA/MITA experience
• Agile/Iterative development experience
• UML 2.0 based designing tools
• Experience integrating applications with Mule, JCAPS or Seibel CRM

Work Assignments:

• Work under direction from the technical lead.
• Work with Business Analyst/Functional leads in Analysis and Designing Applications.
• Responsible for writing J2EE compliant code utilizing standard IDE's such as Eclipse as per project coding standards.
• Responsible for creating Graphical user interface utilizing GUI tools .
• Participate in code peer reviews and ensure the code written complies with the company standards and policies.
• Participate in meetings and discussions with Functional/Technical Leads to understand the requirements and work out a design.
