Responsibilities

• Assists in accepting incoming merchandise and finding the correct pick locations.
• Resets the order pick and flow lines to streamline the warehouse layout and facilitate order selection processes.
• Ensures that there is enough inventory to accommodate both regular and exceptional demands for products.
• Shows dedication to detail by focusing on all assigned areas, like balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and more, with meticulous precision.
• -Shifts goods from the receiving spot to their appropriate locations. Consolidates merchandise into picking containers when needed.
• Securely encases items in cartons and totes, checks for appropriate shipping IDs, and tags the containers with truck cycle and stop indicators.
• Safeguards and optimizes the seamless transportation and tracking of products coming in, going out, and stored within the warehouse.
• Safeguards inventory accuracy by strictly adhering to system protocols.
• Retrieves products based on the predetermined order of delivery stops.
• Accounts for the quantities of materials or items received or issued.
• Handles end-of-shift responsibilities like recharging power equipment and validating accomplished tasks.
• Maintains order at the workstation by placing supplies and products back in their designated areas.
• Follow the specified work methods, safety policies, and procedural instructions as outlined by the company. Verify the safety of the work area and promptly notify authorities of any observed unsafe conditions or behaviors.
• Execute any other related duties as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, GED, or a corresponding qualification
• A crucial aspect of this position is the ability to work the set hours and any additional overtime that may be requested
• Must have the capability to stand, walk, reach, and lift multiple times during the shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Has the versatility to work in multi-temperature environments, such as coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas
• Successfully navigate post-hire drug screening and criminal history check

Preferred Qualifications

• An accumulated six months of experience in warehouse and distribution duties
• Exposure to the foodservice delivery business or a related industry
