Underground Shift Supervisor Position for Hard Rock Mining Operations

Lead a dedicated team as an Underground Shift Supervisor in hard rock mining. Oversee safety, operations, and mentoring while working a FIFO rotation at the Red Chris Mine.

This role involves supervising daily activities within the underground mine while ensuring a safe work environment. You will utilize your experience and knowledge to comply with safety regulations and lead operations efficiently. Key responsibilities include training staff, planning mining activities, and maintaining equipment for optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Supervise daily development and mining operations
• Train and mentor staff on best practices

Requirements

• Experience as a development shift supervisor in hard rock mining
• Valid BC ShiftBoss certification required
• Hold First Aid certification and Transportation Endorsement
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
