Job Description
Pelmen Foods is looking for a highly creative, detail-obsessed brand and content leader to oversee the visual direction and execution of multiple food brands across retail, social media, packaging, trade shows, and marketing campaigns.
This is not a traditional corporate “brand manager” role.
We are looking for someone who can act as the gatekeeper of brand quality — the person who ensures everything leaving the company visually matches the standards, tone, and identity of each brand.
You will work directly with ownership and coordinate designers, photographers, videographers, social media creators, agencies, and printers while also being capable of creating content yourself when needed.

Responsibilities
Brand Oversight & Creative Direction
Maintain and evolve visual identity standards across all brands
Review and approve social media content, packaging, advertisements, POS materials, trade show assets, photography, and digital creatives
Ensure all creative output aligns with brand positioning and quality expectations
Provide clear, constructive feedback and revisions to designers and creators
Creative Project Management
Coordinate external freelancers, agencies, photographers, printers, and content creators
Manage creative timelines and deliverables
Ensure projects move quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality
Organize brand assets, files, templates, and creative systems
Hands-On Content Creation
Create or edit graphics, presentations, mockups, social content, packaging concepts, and marketing materials
Assist with product photography, lifestyle shoots, and creative staging
Support video shoots and social media production
Help generate creative concepts and campaign ideas
Social Media & Marketing Support
Oversee visual consistency across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, retail marketing, and websites
Help plan and review content calendars
Ensure retail-facing marketing materials are polished and brand-consistent
Monitor trends and propose new creative directions

Qualifications
Required
Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, graphic design, social media, packaging, or creative direction work
Experience working with consumer brands, food brands, retail brands, or agencies
Strong understanding of typography, layout, photography, and visual storytelling
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable giving feedback and directing creatives
Preferred
Graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, etc.)
Photography and/or videography experience
Social media content creation experience
Packaging or retail marketing experience
Experience working with printers and production files
AI creative tool experience
Food or CPG industry experience
