• Academic Responsibilities

Plan and deliver effective lessons as per the curriculum. Prepare annual, monthly, and daily lesson plans. Use innovative teaching methods and educational technology. Assess student learning through tests, assignments, projects, and observations. Maintain accurate academic records and student progress reports. Provide remedial support to slow learners and enrichment activities for advanced learners.

• Student Development and Welfare

Promote the overall development of students—academic, emotional, social, and physical. Identify students with special learning or behavioral needs and provide support. Encourage positive behavior, discipline, and moral values. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Act as a mentor and guide for students.

• Classroom Management

Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment. Establish clear classroom rules and expectations. Manage student behavior fairly and consistently. Ensure proper use and care of classroom resources.

• Child Protection and Safety

Follow all Child Protection and POCSO guidelines. Report any concerns related to student safety, abuse, neglect, or bullying. Create a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment. Supervise students during school activities, breaks, and excursions.

• Communication with Parents

Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress. Attend parent-teacher meetings and school events. Address parent concerns professionally and promptly. Share academic and behavioral updates with parents.

• School Administration Duties

Maintain attendance records and other required documentation. Participate in school committees, events, and programs. Assist in admissions, examinations, and school functions. Follow school policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.

• Professional Conduct

Maintain professionalism in appearance, behavior, and communication. Be punctual, regular, and committed to assigned duties. Respect confidentiality of student and school information. Demonstrate ethical behavior and integrity at all times. Serve as a positive role model for students.

• Continuous Professional Development

Attend training programs, workshops, and seminars. Stay updated with new teaching methodologies and educational practices. Engage in self-learning and professional growth activities. Share best practices with colleagues.

• Co-Curricular and Extracurricular Activities

Organize and participate in sports, cultural, literary, and educational activities. Encourage student participation in competitions and events. Support school assemblies, celebrations, and special programs.

• Contribution to School Vision

Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the school. Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership. Contribute to creating a positive school culture. Support initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes and school excellence.
