Salary: $54,000 – $62,000/annum
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this position will be focused on supporting Parkland’s commercial business by proactively contacting existing customers and onboarding new customers. They will work closely with the Commercial outside sales teams, plus additional internal stakeholders as needed.
Responsibilities
- Performs outbound sales calls to existing Sunoco's customers to retain current accounts and generate referrals.
- Proactively contact associations and community groups to generate leads in target markets.
- Qualify and close unsolicited inbound sales inquiries within a pre-determined annual volume range; refer larger accounts to appropriate Outside Sales representatives.
- Enters sales leads and updates opportunities in CRM tool.
Requirements
- A motivated self-starter, with good organizational skills
- Industry experience in cardlock and commercial fuel is an asset
- Ability to establish effective professional relationships with customers and co-workers
- Strong computer skills
- Previous sales experience an asset
- One year college diploma in an applicable area of study
- Ability to cold call and generate sales opportunities
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with CRM system
