- Life-saving equipment Website: www.panorama.africa Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Supply Chain Executive, based in India. The role involves overseeing supply chain operations, managing procurement processes, and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Procurement & Vendor Management - Obtain competitive quotations by requesting and securing detailed pricing from approved suppliers for each RFQ.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendor relationships to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effective procurement.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms with suppliers to achieve best value for the company. 2.Inventory Planning & Stock Optimization - Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Implement effective inventory control and stock optimization strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. 3.Logistics & Delivery Coordination - Oversee logistics operations and coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transporters to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
- Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and ensure proper documentation for incoming and outgoing goods. 4.Demand Forecasting & Order Fulfillment - Analyze sales trends, consumption patterns, and demand data to support accurate forecasting and procurement planning.
- Ensure timely processing of purchase orders and fulfillment of operational and customer requirements. 5.Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to align procurement and supply chain strategies with business objectives.
- Support project and operational teams with timely procurement and logistics coordination. 6.Compliance, Documentation & Cost Control - Ensure procurement and logistics activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and supplier documentation.
- Monitor and optimize procurement, logistics, and inventory costs to improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications - Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-centric approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize supply chain processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in Maritime, Oil & Gas, or Industrial service sectors is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Supply Chain / Procurement systems and tools (ERP, inventory systems, etc.).
