Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our research teams by analyzing complex datasets, uncovering patterns and trends, and contributing to key scientific insights. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level professional to gain invaluable experience working alongside experienced researchers and data scientists in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment. You will assist in the development of sophisticated data models and visualizations, working with large datasets in a collaborative and research-driven setting.

Data Collection and Cleaning: You will be responsible for collecting, preprocessing, and cleaning large datasets from various research studies. This involves working with both structured and unstructured data to ensure it is ready for analysis.

Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and correlations that contribute to ongoing research. This includes applying statistical methods to data sets to uncover insights that guide scientific hypotheses.

Data Visualization: Create clear and insightful visualizations, including graphs, dashboards, and charts, to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will use tools like Tableau, Power BI, and other visualization platforms.

Collaboration: Work closely with senior data analysts, researchers, and engineers to improve data analysis workflows, contribute to team discussions, and ensure that data insights are integrated into ongoing projects.

Prepare and present detailed reports on findings, including data summaries and actionable insights, to support decision-making.

Machine Learning Support: Assist in the development of machine learning models and algorithms to automate data processing, enhance data prediction capabilities, and improve the overall research process.

Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation processes. Follow best practices to avoid errors and inconsistencies in the data.

Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical techniques. Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and programming languages, including Python, R, or SQL.

Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib is required.

Understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and data modeling techniques.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to approach data from multiple angles and generate actionable insights.

Communication Skills: Ability to present complex data findings in a clear, concise, and understandable manner to diverse teams.

Remote Work Capability: Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines while contributing to collaborative projects.

AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for data storage and processing is highly desirable.

Machine Learning Experience: Knowledge or experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or Scikit-learn is advantageous but not required.
