Join the AI-Driven Revolution: Backend & DevOps Engineer

At PakFactory, we don’t just make boxes; we are re-architecting how the world experiences packaging. Our mission is to simplify the packaging industry through radical innovation and digital mastery. We are building the most advanced, AI-powered development team in the industry, and we’re looking for a visionary Junior–Intermediate Backend & DevOps Engineer to help us build the "operating system" for the future of global commerce.

We move fast, we build smart, and we believe that Excellence is Never-Ending. If you are obsessed with scalable infrastructure and ready to leverage AI to push the boundaries of what’s possible, we want to build a shared future with you.

Why This Role Matters

Our systems are the heartbeat of global e-commerce operations and manufacturing workflows. As we embrace the power of AI to automate and optimize every touchpoint of the packaging journey, your role in strengthening our backend architecture and DevOps foundations becomes the backbone of our growth.

This isn't just about "maintaining servers"—it’s about engineering the reliability and speed that allows our entire ecosystem to scale toward a smarter, more automated tomorrow.

What You’ll Do (The Impact)

In this high-ownership role, you won't just be a cog in a machine; you will be an architect of efficiency.

  • Engineer the Core: Design and optimize the backend services that power our internal and customer-facing platforms. You’ll be the master of our PostgreSQL schemas, ensuring data flows like lightning.
  • Architect Connectivity: Build and maintain robust GraphQL APIs that serve as the bridge between our vision and our users, ensuring total data integrity and security.
  • Own the Pipeline: Take our DevOps to the next level. You’ll manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) while exploring how AI can further automate our deployments and uptime monitoring.
  • Integrate the Future: Strengthen our digital web by supporting Shopify integrations and the Zoho Suite (CRM, Desk, Projects), ensuring our "Family-Like" team has the best-connected tools in the business.

What You Bring to the Team

We are looking for an "A-Player"—someone who is technically proficient but also possesses a "partnership mindset."

  • Experience: 1–3 years of backend and/or DevOps experience, with a track record of deploying production systems.
  • Technical Toolkit: You are highly confident with PostgreSQL optimization, GraphQL APIs, and cloud-native environments.
  • The Integrator: You have hands-on experience with Zoho Suite and third-party API integrations (Shopify, etc.).
  • The Mindset: You are an AI enthusiast who looks for ways to work smarter. You take extreme ownership of your code, communicate with clarity, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The PakFactory Experience

  • Happier Weekdays: We believe in a culture that balances high performance with a genuine, supportive environment.
  • Growth Path: We don’t just hire for the job you have today; we invest in the leader you’ll become tomorrow.
  • AI-First Culture: Join a team that is actively integrating AI to stay at the cutting edge of the tech industry.

Which IDEs or tools do you use in your daily workflow (e.g., VS Code, Cursor, Claude Code), and how do you leverage them—including AI tools—to ensure code quality, efficiency, and adherence to best practices?
  • Describe your experience with relational databases (SQL). Can you design a database schema from scratch and optimize complex queries for performance? Additionally, do you have hands-on experience building and troubleshooting GraphQL or REST APIs? Please specify the tools and frameworks you've used.
