JOB DESCRIPTION
Load, unload and stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control You can expect to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. When lifting commercial tires you will do team lifts or use mechanical equipment. When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires you will need to be able to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds Be on the move. You should be willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed Contribute to our culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures. The duties listed in this job description are not exhaustive. Team members may be asked to perform other job-related tasks and follow any job-related instructions given by their supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations
Qualifications
- Forklift operation and material handling in a warehouse environment
- Experience with loading/unloading, shipping and receiving, and inventory control
- Proficiency with forklift types (reach truck, clamp truck, pallet jack) and basic equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picking procedures
- Strong lifting capability, mechanical aptitude, and basic math skills
- OSHA awareness and safe operating practices; ability to work in a fast-paced distribution setting
