You are invited to apply for the position of Record to Report (RTR) Team Member at one of India's leading IT & consulting organizations. As an RTR Team Member, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting activities, including general ledger management, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. Your role will require strong analytical capabilities and adherence to accounting standards to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Review and approve journal entries including accruals, amortization, fixed assets, and inventory postings
- Perform General Ledger (GL) review and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Review Trial Balance, P&L, and Balance Sheet during month-end and period-close activities
- Perform and review bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Identify reconciliation issues and provide timely resolution
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Support month-end close activities within defined SLAs
- Act as reviewer/approver/controller for RTR processes
- Coordinate with onshore teams, auditors, and internal stakeholders
- Drive process improvement, transformation initiatives, and special projects where required
- Perform end-to-end RTR accounting activities including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data across business segments to ensure accuracy and highlight key insights
- Post journal entries (accruals, reclassifications, payroll, adjustments, lease accounting, and clearing entries)
- Ensure accurate recording, verification, and reconciliation of financial transactions
- Maintain and update General Ledger hierarchies and cost center structures
- Manage fixed asset accounting including additions, disposals, and retirements
- Execute month-end and period-end close activities within defined timelines
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare cash flow statements and support financial analysis
- Conduct balance sheet reviews and resolve variances (including GRNI)
- Handle intercompany accounting processes and variance tracking
- Support statutory reporting through preparation of schedules and reports
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis
- Manage reconciliation items (R-items) and maintain trackers such as open line items and reach-back matrix
- *Qualifications Required:**
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Finance & Accounting - RTR
- Experience in reviewing and approving: Journal Entries, Accruals & Amortization, Fixed Assets, Inventory Accounting, Trial Balance
- Hands-on experience with Bank Reconciliation, Intercompany Reconciliation, and Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Any Graduates
