Outdoor Living Today (OLT) is a Western Red Cedar manufacturing company based in British Columbia. For over 18 years, we have specialized in sustainably sourced, high-quality cedar products, including sheds, garden beds, playhouses, gazebos, and pergolas. Our products are designed for homeowners across Canada and the United States who value durability, craftsmanship, and the natural beauty of cedar.
Our head office in Maple Ridge, BC, is looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support our sales and customer service operations in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Role Overview
This role combines administrative precision with customer-facing support, working directly with customers both before and after purchase to help deliver a seamless, professional, and positive customer experience from initial inquiry through final delivery and support, while also assisting with order processing, coordinating with internal and external partners, and ensuring accurate data entry across multiple systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your work will be focused across three key areas:
40% – Order Processing & Administrative Coordination
- Process and input customer orders, including orders, into company systems with a level of accuracy
- Manage and maintain sales order records and ensure all documentation is properly tracked
- Identify and correct data entry errors using quality control procedures
- Safeguard sensitive information across internal software platforms and databases
40% – Customer Service & Customer Experience
- Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and online channels
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate product information
- Create a seamless and positive customer experience across all service touchpoints
- Proactively identify and resolve potential customer service issues before they escalate
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while responding to customer concerns
- Collect customer feedback and share insights with internal teams to improve service delivery
- Maintain clear, timely communication with customers regarding order status or issues
20% – Sales & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams to support timely sales order processing and a positive customer experience
- Help coordinate information between sales, operations, and customer service teams
- Contribute to achieving sales and service performance goals through strong administrative support
What We’re Looking For
- Postsecondary education in business, administration, customer service, or a related field is considered an asset; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Experience in customer service, administrative support, order processing, or related customer-facing roles.
· Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute within a collaborative and evolving company environment.
· A positive, collaborative attitude with honesty, kindness, and a sense of humour
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to stay calm and effective in stressful situations
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: CA$21.00–$28.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Work Location: Primarily in person at our Maple Ridge, BC office, with potential future hybrid flexibility of 1–2 remote workdays per week at management’s discretion.
