Job Description
We are looking for a Lab Technician Trainee to assist in routine laboratory work and learn diagnostic procedures under the guidance of senior lab technicians. The trainee will support sample collection, testing, and maintaining laboratory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting blood, urine, and other biological samples
- Prepare samples for testing and labeling correctly
- Support routine laboratory tests (biochemistry, hematology, pathology, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory
- Handle and maintain laboratory equipment under supervision
- Record test results accurately in registers or software
- Follow safety, infection control, and quality standards
- Assist senior technicians in daily lab operations
- Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste
Eligibility / Qualifications:
- DMLT / MLT students or freshers
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures
- Willingness to learn and work in a clinical environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
Skills Required:
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to handle patients politely
- Time management and discipline
- Interest in medical laboratory field
