This role is responsible for the end-to-end design and architectural integrity of IT solutions that power secure identity verification and risk mitigation platforms.</p> <p data-path-to-node="1"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Define and maintain the architectural roadmap for identity proofing systems and retail platform integrations (Cornerstone), ensuring scalability and security.</li> <li>Design robust frameworks for real-time risk scoring and fraud prevention, focusing on secure identity verification and transaction flow integrity.</li> <li>Establish best practices for microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and API design, particularly within a <strong data-path-to-node="10,2,0" data-index-in-node="133">Sovereign AI</strong> and hybrid-cloud infrastructure.<br>Act as the primary technical advisor to Product and Operations teams, translating complex business requirements into high-performance technical blueprints.<br></li> <li> Lead deep-dive investigations into systemic anomalies and bottlenecks, implementing data-driven improvements to onboarding and provisioning flows.&nbsp;</li> <li>Design systems for advanced performance management, reporting, and automated service quality measurement.</li> </ul> <p></p> <h3 data-path-to-node="15"><strong data-path-to-node="15" data-index-in-node="0">Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li data-path-to-node="16,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="16,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">10+ years</strong> of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a dedicated Architecture role.</li> <li data-path-to-node="16,0,0">Mastery of Microservices, <strong>Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka)</strong>, and Cloud-Native patterns (AWS/Google Cloud/OpenShift).&nbsp;</li> <li> Expert knowledge of <strong data-path-to-node="13,1,0" data-index-in-node="41">OAuth2</strong>, <strong data-path-to-node="13,1,0" data-index-in-node="49">OIDC</strong>, <strong data-path-to-node="13,1,0" data-index-in-node="55">SAML</strong>, and CCRA identity proofing standards.&nbsp;</li> <li>Deep familiarity with high-concurrency environments utilizing <strong data-path-to-node="13,2,0" data-index-in-node="83">Go (Golang)</strong>, <strong data-path-to-node="13,2,0" data-index-in-node="96">Rust</strong>, or <strong data-path-to-node="13,2,0" data-index-in-node="105">Java (Spring Boot)</strong>.</li> <li data-path-to-node="16,1,0">Strong background in <strong data-path-to-node="16,1,0" data-index-in-node="21">Cyber Security</strong>, <strong data-path-to-node="16,1,0" data-index-in-node="37">Identity Access Management (IAM)</strong>, or <strong data-path-to-node="16,1,0" data-index-in-node="74">FinTech</strong>.</li> <li data-path-to-node="16,2,0">Extensive experience navigating and leading within a <strong data-path-to-node="16,2,0" data-index-in-node="53">Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)</strong> or ART environment.</li> <li data-path-to-node="16,3,0">Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and mentor senior engineering teams.</li> </ul> <p></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Orion is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, citizenship status, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.</p> <p>Candidate Privacy Policy</p> <p>Orion Systems Integrators, LLC and its subsidiaries and its affiliates (collectively, “Orion,” “we” or “us”) are committed to protecting your privacy.
