Job Summary

Orbit Solar is seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential and commercial projects. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install solar PV systems including panels, inverters, wiring, and mounting structures
• Conduct site surveys and assist in system layout and planning
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and performance checks
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in solar systems
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
• Ensure all work complies with electrical and safety standards
• Work with engineers and project teams during installations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and safety gear properly
• Document installation and maintenance activities accurately

Requirements

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in solar installation or electrical work
• Knowledge of solar PV systems and components
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
• Willingness to travel to project sites
