Join our dynamic Network Services team within Oracle's Global Information Technology organization, where you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch IT services to Oracle's global businesses. Your primary focus will be managing and optimizing our network infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive records of equipment failures and collaborate with engineers and suppliers as needed.
- Effectively escalate client issues following established procedures to resolve problems promptly.
- Utilize advanced network management tools to monitor network performance, analyze bandwidth needs, and recommend impactful enhancements.
- Enhance proactive network management tools with a management-approved strategy to optimize overall network efficiency.
- Troubleshoot network issues across campus locations, remote sites, and national wide area networks until resolution.
- Engage in Project Engineering tasks that encompass specification development, compliance design, implementation, and testing through to production.
- Respond proactively to monitoring alarms to identify outage causes and coordinate swift corrective actions.
- Provide on-call support and assist colleagues as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in network engineering roles supporting production environments.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, particularly in routing, switching, and network security.
- Proven experience with maintaining and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
- Proficient in using network automation tools (such as Ansible or similar) to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
- Demonstrated capability in automating repetitive network tasks to minimize manual efforts and improve consistency.
- Familiarity with cloud networking is preferred, especially Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), but experience with AWS or other providers is acceptable.
- Experience in managing hybrid network architectures that include both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Skilled in managing VPN solutions, particularly site-to-site and secure remote user access.
- Hands-on experience with load balancing technologies, including F5 or similar cloud-native solutions.
- Experience in managing firewall platforms like Palo Alto Networks, focused on rule configuration and troubleshooting.
- Ability to produce and maintain clear technical documentation, including diagrams and operational procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits
The hiring range is between $33.94 to $67.88 per hour ($70,600 to $141,200 annually). This position may also be eligible for equity compensation.
