Entry Level On-Site Field Technician

Job Description

The Field Technician is responsible for the on site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic equipment. The technician will work with the Service Manager to ensure that the equipment is installed properly and maintained in a safe and efficient manner. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repair of all equipment.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair of computer components
• Respond to service calls with urgency and professionalism
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Use standard work-related equipment and supplies
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Perform assigned duties in a safe, professional, and efficient manner
• Follow all company safety rules and regulations
• Work as a team member to complete assigned tasks as required
• Demonstrate knowledge of company safety policies, procedures, and rules governing use of Company equipment
• Ability to follow direction from the Service Manager and other crew leaders
• Maintain good communication with co-workers and management at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or supervisor

Qualifications

• Ability to perform daily tasks including: climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs.) etc.
• Must be able to operate various hand tools

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
