About the Role 

Ophelia is seeking a Senior Manager, Partnership Implementations to take the lead on managing all implementation aspects of Ophelia’s partnership arrangements.  We’re looking for a motivated, organized, enthusiastic, business development-minded individual who can drive cross-functional work efforts to completion. This person will be part of the Commercial organization, and be responsible for leading and supporting projects internally and in conjunction with clients (payors, partner organizations, and government agencies).  

The successful candidate will have experience in client-facing project management, relationship management, and managed healthcare (ideally in Medicaid), as well as have a strong grasp on the revenue cycle.

The Senior Manager, Partnership Implementations will report to the Senior Director, Payor Strategy & Contracting, and be part of a cross-functional team working to grow Ophelia’s business across revenue streams including payors, new government programs and strategic partnerships.  

Responsibilities and Example Outcomes

  • Lead payor contract implementations, requiring both internal and external cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Drive revenue cycle issue resolutions (claims processing, credentialing), which includes coordination with payors and internal operations teams
  • Spearhead cross-functional strategic initiatives that have an impact on revenue (implementation of new product/service lines, as an example)

Skills and Experience

  • 5-7 years experience with the following components
    • 2+ years experience in provider credentialing and / or revenue cycle management and claims submissions
    • 5+ years in execution / project management roles with progressive responsibilities
    • 3+ years working with managed care contracts and initiatives
  • Skills:
    • Track record of owning successful projects (on time, on budget, within scope)
    • Strong leadership abilities, including influencing others to action through trust-based relationship building, thought leadership, candid communication, and a results-oriented approach
    • Strategic thinker
    • Significant experience in managed care 
    • Familiarity with payor / provider contractual relationships
    • Effective communication, both verbal and written
