Database infrastructure developer/engineer

Location: Montreal – Hybrid – 3 days/week

Python engineer to work on a new requirement for database infrastructure maintenance and development. The role will require a self‑sufficient individual, capable of working in a complex environment building new functionality and maintaining existing infrastructure required to support the environment.

Responsibilities

The role will be for a database infrastructure developer / engineer. The candidate will be working on various database related infrastructure / automation projects that will require the development or maintenance of modules/scripts using python and ksh.

The candidate will be responsible for development unit level testing and integration testing.

The candidate should have a strong track record of delivering projects on time.

Skills Required

• 2-5 years of experience
• Understanding scripting is a core requirement.
• Strong Python scripting
• Experience of revision control systems.
• Strong Unix shell scripting (in particular Korn Shell)
