Job Description

In this role, you will report to the Plant Technical Support Manager and offer specialized technical advice while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your responsibilities include conducting equipment inspections, preparing technical documentation, and executing design changes to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency. Ideal candidates will have vast experience in electrical distribution and a nuanced understanding of the energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct inspections of electrical systems

  • Manage project activities as a primary contact

  • Oversee the procurement and contractor selection process

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Applied Science
  • Minimum 8 years in Electrical Engineering roles
  • Experience with protection and control systems
  • Strong understanding of energy generation and transmission
  • Eligible for engineering licensure in Ontario
