Job Description

We are seeking a Senior ICAM (Identity, Credential, and Access Management) Solutions Engineer with 10+ years of experience supporting secure, enterprise-level environments. This position supports a federal government customer in Springfield, VA and requires an active Top-Secret clearance.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in ICAM architecture, HSM configuration, PKI implementation, identity management systems, Windows infrastructure, scripting automation, and SQL database configuration within highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, build, and maintain enterprise ICAM solutions
  • Configure and support Thales or Entrust Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
  • Implement and maintain Entrust, Microsoft, or EJBCA Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environments
  • Deploy and configure Identity Management Systems (XTec, Intercede, HID ActivIdentity)
  • Build and maintain Windows Servers and Windows Workstations
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PowerShell automation scripts
  • Configure and manage SQL databases supporting ICAM infrastructure
  • Provide operational support, troubleshooting, patching, and system optimization
  • Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards and security controls

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • 10+ years of ICAM solution design, build, and operational support experience
  • Hands-on experience configuring Thales or Entrust HSMs
  • Experience implementing and supporting Entrust, Microsoft, or EJBCA PKI
  • Experience building and configuring Identity Management Systems:
  • XTec
  • Intercede
  • HID ActivIdentity
  • Strong experience with Windows Server and Windows Workstation environments
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience building and configuring SQL databases
  • Experience supporting federal government or high-security environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience administering Unix and/or Linux systems
  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments
  • Familiarity with STIG implementation and hardening
  • Experience with automated configuration management tools

DoD 8140 / 8570 AlignmentCandidates must meet applicable DoD 8140 (formerly 8570) workforce requirements for Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance Management (IAM) levels appropriate to the role. Relevant certifications may include:

  • Security+ CE
  • CISSP
  • CASP+
  • CISM

EducationBachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
