Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. This role requires a strong understanding of the food industry, excellent guest relations skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff.

TIPS ARE MADE AND TAKEN HOME SAME DAY AS SHIFT (NO SHARING)

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Process payments using cash registers and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.

Skills

• Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
• Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively.
• Excellent guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Ability to perform bussing duties efficiently as needed.
• Experience with cash handling procedures and operating cash registers is beneficial.
