Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload shipments pallet jacks
• Conduct accurate order picking with RF scanners and pickers to fulfill customer orders efficiently
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and inventory accuracy within the warehouse management system
• Assist with materials handling tasks such as stacking, sorting, and organizing inventory to maximize space utilization
• Support warehouse distribution activities by participating in order fulfillment, stock replenishment, and inventory audits

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for accurate order picking and inventory control
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced setting
