Job Description

As a Solutions Engineer at Okta, your role will involve supporting customers throughout their sales journey by demonstrating the value of Okta technology through live demonstrations and sales presentations. You will directly engage with IT managers, developers, product managers, and occasionally senior executives across various industries. Your primary focus will be on Okta Workforce Identity solutions, where you will showcase how this solution aligns with their current architecture requirements and use cases. Key responsibilities include executing outcome-focused POC's, maintaining a solid technical understanding of the Okta product line and underlying technologies, and participating in local and regional events as an Okta evangelist.

Qualifications required for this role include the ability to work in the US time zone, a minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM or a related SaaS field as a pre-sales engineer, expertise in IAM technologies such as single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, passwordless authentication, universal directory, privileged access, and device access, proficiency in working with REST APIs and SDKs, strong communication skills to convey complex ideas and solutions effectively, experience in customer-facing roles like consulting, customer support, or pre-sales, and possessing strong empathy, listening, and time management skills.
