Location: Washington, DC
The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of an Infrastructure Manager-Cloud.
This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The incumbent will design, deploy, migrate and maintain systems for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Developing, documenting, making recommendations, and communicating plans for investing in IT systems and cloud infrastructure
- Designing, deploying, and managing Azure Gov IaaS, SaaS & PaaS services, and solutions
- Monitoring cloud infrastructure for errors or problems and resolving them in a timely manner managing a team of technical subject manager experts and other IT professionals.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Seven (7) years of progressive experience designing and maintaining enterprise cloud solutions with a focus on Microsoft Azure, IaaS, PaaS services and solutions. Experience implementing DevOps practices and automated testing of network technologies as they relate to Azure & AWS. Familiarity of security policies, network security, data security and security event management to adopt cloud security services. Experience providing architectural consulting expertise, direction, leadership, and assistance to systems analysts and administrators, IT cloud engineers, and other systems architects. To include one (1) year of experience managing a team of technical subject manager experts and other IT professionals. Demonstrated experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, and relational databases such as MS SQL is desired.
