Oakley Sub Assembly Windsor, ULC. is an automotive sub-assembler of tire and wheel assemblies. Oakley operates seven plants in the Midwest area including the United Sates and Canada.
Job Summary
The manufacturing engineer position develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls; coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products. This position also has responsibility for supporting full compliance with international standard requirements.
Education & Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
2. Good oral and written communication skills.
3. Experience and/or training in safe work environments, union work environments, capital improvement, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
4. Computer assisted design (CAD) proficiency.
5. Computer proficiency, including MS Office is preferred.
6. Familiarity with IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 14001:2015 requirements.
Preferred Experience:
- 3-5 years experience in Manufacturing or process engineering role.
- Proficient in Industrial PLC troubleshooting and programing.
- Fanuc Robot programing and troubleshooting
- Experience in CMMS software (Manager plus)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
