We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Solar Interconnection Specialist to drive the seamless integration of solar energy projects into existing electrical grids. Duties

• Collaborate with utility providers and project teams to facilitate interconnection applications and approvals for solar projects
• Review technical documentation, including system designs, interconnection agreements, and utility requirements, ensuring compliance with all standards
• Manage the preparation and submission of interconnection requests using industry-standard construction management software and tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6
• Coordinate site visits and inspections to verify project readiness for interconnection and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Track project milestones, schedules, and deadlines using project scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and HeavyBid to maintain momentum and transparency
• Assist in negotiating contracts related to interconnection processes, permits, and utility agreements
• Maintain detailed records of all correspondence, permits, approvals, and project documentation for audit readiness and future reference

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management or project coordination within the solar or renewable energy sector
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, grid interconnection procedures, and utility requirements
• Familiarity with construction estimating, contracts management, and construction site experience is highly desirable
• Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other project management tools
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
• Effective communication skills for liaising with utilities, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contractual documents accurately
