As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll act as a technical leader focused on CANDU nuclear reactor components. This role requires strong skills in process control, Lean Manufacturing, and successful production strategies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure efficiency and maintain high standards in a tightly regulated setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize machining processes for nuclear components
  • Define tooling approaches and manufacturing sequences
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear codes and customer specifications
  • Lead new product introduction and production ramp-up
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • University Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in controlled manufacturing environments
  • 3 years in Nuclear or Aerospace sectors
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP and ASME codes
  • Proficiency in CAD software like Inventor and AutoCAD
