Senior Mechanical Engineer

Reporting to the Superintendent of Project Execution, the Senior Mechanical Engineer plays a vital role in delivering capital projects. You'll conduct both basic and detailed engineering reviews, ensuring compliance with Nutrien’s standards. Collaborating with stakeholders, your expertise in fixed and rotating equipment will help meet strategic operational targets while enhancing sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete mechanical engineering design and reviews of capital projects
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project objectives
• Liaise with technical services and project development groups
• Conduct technical reviews for equipment specifications and installations
• Serve as a subject matter expert during detailed engineering phases

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 12+ years of relevant plant mechanical engineering experience
• Knowledge in pressure vessel and piping codes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and PV Elite software
• Eligible for APEGA registration as a Professional Engineer
