Mechanical Engineer for Capital Projects

This role focuses on the engineering and execution of various mechanical projects. You will be responsible for both basic and detailed design, reviewing external consultants' work to ensure alignment with standards. Supporting fixed and rotating equipment objectives, you will play a crucial role in meeting project goals and enhancing operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete mechanical design for capital projects
• Review external engineering consultant designs
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Liaise with technical services and equipment manufacturers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 12+ years of mechanical engineering experience
• Knowledge of pressure vessel and piping codes
• Familiarity with Alberta regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and engineering software
