MicroStrategy Cloud Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and upgrade MicroStrategy in cloud environments
• Manage multiple MicroStrategy instances across environments (Dev, QA, Prod)
• Optimize performance (Intelligence Server tuning, caching, cube performance, memory allocation)
• Design and manage HA/DR strategy
• Capacity planning and autoscaling (Kubernetes/GKE/EKS or VM-based)
• Monitor platform health and resolve production issues
• Manage security, access controls, and governance
• Work with SRE/cloud teams on infrastructure optimization
• Automate deployments (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code where possible)

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on MicroStrategy administration
• Experience hosting MicroStrategy on cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• Strong knowledge of:
• Intelligence Server configuration
• Metadata management
• User & object security
• Caching and cube optimization
• Experience managing multiple instances/environments
• Understanding of Kubernetes or VM-based deployments
• Strong troubleshooting skills (CPU/memory/network bottlenecks)
• Experience with patching and version upgrades
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Experience with monitoring tools (Stackdriver, CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GKE/EKS autoscaling
• CI/CD exposure (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• BigQuery / Snowflake backend experience
• Experience migrating on-prem MicroStrategy to cloud
• Cost optimization experience in cloud environments
